I followed the setup explained in the book of Jason Osipa's - Stop Starring Facial Modeling and Animation.

Here is the setup, I used:
  1. Main rig - simple neck and head joint, control the head mesh via skin cluster.
  2. Squash rig - spline IK joint chain (which is child of head joint) from neck to head, control Lattice of the duplicated head mesh.
  3. Apply blend shape of duplicated mesh on main mesh. So if we adjust spline IK chain, main mesh will affect.
  4. I also parented spline IK head ctrl objects under chest ctrl.


Here is the problem:

When I move the chest ctrl, Head mesh gets double transformation. Where the mistake will be? Help me guys.

Alex Fry from Dr D Studios demonstrates how they used NUKE and OCULA on full CG and live action shots in Happy Feet 2.

Dr. D Studios used NUKE for all of the sky processing in the movie. This was done by taking HDR time-lapse stills from an array of 5D cameras to build all the sky domes, all of which was heavily automated using NUKE. Alex also shows how OCULA was used on live action shots in Happy Feet 2.

Collaborating with Simon Robson from Engine, this project required me to design and illustrate an array of Australian native plants and animals to populate the stylised environment that he has in mind. Simon, myself and Max (Head of 3D at Engine) had numerous conversations about how these animals would move, what they would be made of, with the goal of creating a host of creatures that are endearing without being overly cute as well as handcrafted without feeling stiff or unnatural.

Federer excellence in a new commercial for Jura
Multiple Grand Slam Winner Roger Federer is the star of the new beautiful coffee dripping commercial for Jura coffee machines.
The commercial was shot on set, and all backgrounds were later replaced by a CGI warehouse, influenced by the architecture of the Gare du Nord station in Paris. To add a touch, the entire commercial was coffee colored and 60 thousands CG coffee glasses were added.
